Steel Framed Structure

The new construction is a steel-framed and load bearing masonry building that is isolated from the existing building. Due to subsurface conditions the additions had to be constructed on both ends of the existing building. The gymnasium portion of the building is designed to be supported on rock and the fitness area is supported on existing fill. The climbing wall is supported by a steel frame connected to the buildings main frames.
